Talisker Guest House enjoys an excellent location on the banks of the River Ness, offering beautiful views and convenient access to the city centre and attractions like the Cathedral via a nearby pedestrian bridge. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds and a well-presented continental breakfast, with options like eggs cooked to order. Some guests have mentioned that the sink being located in the bedroom was not ideal. The availability of a private car park proves useful given the limited street parking in the area.

some concerns noted

noisy pipes small room
the room was quite small. the bed made a crinkling sound. i found that the mattress had a thick duvet with a plastic-lined mattress protector. (this setup wasn't the most comfortable).

simple comforts by the river

easy location lovely view simple breakfast
location was a short walk to town, perhaps fifteen minutes to the train station. i stayed in room number 5, a nice river view unfolded before me.. the room itself felt clean and modest. phi proved a lovely host, preparing a simple continental breakfast complete with croissant, pancakes, cereal, yoghurt, and fruit. she also kindly offered toast, coffee, or tea.
my bed, while not terrible, didn't offer the greatest comfort. i also noticed some noisy pipes within the building itself.
